For most tests (VO2 max, Lactate Threshold, Performance/Complete/Ultimate packages), we advise: - Avoiding strenuous activity or training for at least 24 hours beforehand - Eating a normal, balanced diet the day before with adequate carbohydrate (spread across 2–3 meals) — no need to "carb load" & Limiting caffeine before your test.

Yes — we can identify your fuel usage (carbohydrate oxidation) at any pace we test, including race pace, and give you a breakdown of fuelling requirements in grams-per-hour along with likely glycogen depletion rates, so you can build or fine-tune training and race-day fuelling plans.

Generally yes, we can accommodate light filming — our testing area is semi-private so can be busy at peak times, but some slots (e.g. quieter evenings and Saturdays) work well. Please get in touch to find a suitable times.

It depends on your event and goals, but for we typically recommend setting up a full training block 12–16 weeks out from race day so the data can actually shape your training, rather than just confirming it late.
Testing closer to a race/event allows for more accurate predictions of performance/pacing and to measure you at peak fitness.
